Washington Crossing the Delaware
December 25 - Washington Crossing the Delaware, Washington Crossing Historic Park, Washington Crossing, PA.
Each December, thousands of people gather on the banks of the Delaware River to watch the reenactment of Washington's daring 1775 Christmas night river crossing.
During the event, hundreds of reenactors listen to a speech by General Washington and row across the river in replica Durham boats.
