Eve of the Revolution

May 4, 2024 Rebecca Nurse Homestead, 149 Pine St, Danvers, MA    In the summer and fall of 1774, General Gage and the 64th Regiment of Foot were headquartered in Danvers.  With Talk of raising minute companies and gathering of "warelike stores," Gage sends patrols of Regulars into the countryside for "exercise" to gather intelligence and to locate and seize these supplies.
