October 1 & 2, 2022 INVITATION ONLY- Heritage Farms, 266 Bolton Center Rd, Bolton, CT This is the actual site of the French Army's encampment in June 1781 as they made their way to Yorktown and glory. There will be a full schedule of activities and after-hour socials which will be posted in the months to come. The premise of this event is what would have happened if the British had received word of the French march and engaged them in Bolton, CT. There will be full British, French and Continental camps. This is an invitation-only event and only units with the proper insurance will be allowed to field. There will be a full pack march on the same route the French took to the site along with a reenactors only tactical. Heritage Farms (formerly Rose Farm) is the site of Campsite #5 on the Washington-Rochambeau Revolutionary Route in June of 1781. Its rolling hills and hayfields with stone walls still remain the same as in the maps drawn by the French. It has great views and natural viewing spots for the engagement.
