September 30, 2017, Longfellow's Wayside Inn, Sudbury, MA  - 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM  Thrill to the sights and sounds of early American on the beautiful grounds of  historic Longfellow's Wayside Inn.  More than 20 Fyfe and Drum corps parade past the 300 year-old Inn, where flintlock muskets thunder and Militia and Redcoats clash on the muster filed.  Dozes of craft booth offer beautiful handmade authentic gift items, while old-time games and farm animals delight the kids  Sample food and drink both Colonial and modern while browsing the hiving history exhibits.   And while you're there, why not stop into the old Inn for a cold Wayside Ale on draft!  Admission is $2 cash at the door, with plenty of free parking.  Rain or shine, all are welcome!   Reservations for dinner and overnight accommodations at Longfellow's Wayside Inn can be made separately by calling 978-443-1776    Hosted by the Sudbury Companies of Militia & Minute and Sudbury Ancient Fyfe and Drum Companie.    For more information, use the form below.

Redcoats to Rebels

BY INVITATION ONLY, August 4, 5 & 6, 2017 - Camp out at the premier historical site of New England, Old Sturbridge Village.  The "Redcoats to Rebels" weekend is the largest reenactment in New England each year and is attended by over 4,000 spectators and visitors.    There will be demonstrations, battles, skirmishes and a jollification at the Bullard Tavern on Saturday night.  A new updated description of this event can be found at https://www.osv.org/event/redcoats-rebels  This year the event will be hosted by 85eme Regiment de Saintonge and HM 10th Foot.
